Work with stakeholders (business, users, leadership) to understand strategic goals and translate them into a clear, compelling product vision and roadmap.
Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, user needs, and pain points through workshops, interviews, surveys, and observation. And ensures the team builds the right things that deliver maximum value.
Create, maintain, and continuously refine the Product Backlog. Write clear, concise, and testable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize backlog items for upcoming sprints/releases based on the latest insights.
Define the goal and scope for each sprint/release. Clearly communicate priorities and requirements to the development team. Make timely decisions during the sprint to keep delivery on track. Accept or reject completed work based on acceptance criteria.
Facilitate clear communication and manage expectations. Translate complex business needs into understandable terms for developers and explain technical constraints/implications back to business stakeholders. Shield the team from unnecessary interruptions.
Collaborate closely with UX designers. Review prototypes and designs. Participate in or define user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure the delivered solution meets the actual user’s needs and business requirements.
Define key metrics (KPIs) to measure product success and value realization. Analyze feedback and usage data post-release. Use insights to inform future backlog priorities and product improvements.
Conduct or participate in market research, competitor analysis, and user research to identify opportunities and validate assumptions in order to ensure the product remains relevant and competitive by grounding decisions in real-world context.
